Narwal Flow 2

The roller-mop machine that publishes the most: suction, mop lift, wash temperature, drying temperature, dock interval, battery and a noise figure, all on one page.

Best for

The best-documented roller mop

Disclosure — some links on this page go to Amazon, and we earn a commission if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what we recommend or in what order. The full disclosure.

Narwal publishes 5 of the 7 specifications we track for this model and states nothing about the other 2. Everything below is quoted from Narwal’s own material, with the page it came from linked on each row. We have not handled this machine.

This is the best-documented roller mop we have found, and it is not close. Narwal publishes suction, mop lift height, mop wash temperature, drying temperature, dock bag capacity, dock interval, battery capacity and a noise figure, all in one place. Most makers in this category publish a mechanism name and a Pa number and stop. Whatever else is true about the machine, you can actually check what you are buying, which on this site counts for a great deal.

Two figures stand out. The 2.5L dock bag stated at up to 120 days is the longest self-empty interval of any machine we cover, roughly double the usual 60-day claim. And the 12mm mop lift is published plainly, which matters more on a roller than on a pad: a roller holds water along its whole length, so a house with rugs needs to know the wet part genuinely clears the pile.

The gaps are worth naming. There is no climb height, so a house with thresholds is buying blind on the specification this site cares about most. There is no body height, so you cannot tell whether it fits under your furniture. And the 7,000mAh battery is a capacity without a runtime, which tells you how much charge it holds and nothing about how long it cleans. At this price, those three blanks are the argument for one of the cheaper machines on the same page.

The published spec sheet

Stated suction
31,000 PaThe highest Pa figure published by any maker on this site. It is Narwal's own measurement and is not comparable across brands.Source: Narwal Flow 2 product page — suction (retrieved 2026-09-26)
Max climb height
Not publishedNarwal publishes no climb or threshold height for this model.
Mop lift
12mmPublished plainly as a mop lifting height, which is more than most makers of roller mops manage.Source: Narwal Flow 2 product page — mop lifting (retrieved 2026-09-26)
Main brush
Zero-Tangling Floating Roller BrushNarwal names it and describes it as floating, which refers to the brush following floor height rather than to anti-tangle behavior. The anti-tangle claim is in the name only.Source: Narwal Flow 2 product page — roller brush (retrieved 2026-09-26)
Navigation
Freo Mind 4.0Narwal names the system without stating the sensing hardware behind it.Source: Narwal Flow 2 product page — navigation (retrieved 2026-09-26)
Stated runtime
Not publishedNarwal publishes a 7,000mAh battery capacity but no runtime in minutes. Capacity without a draw figure does not give you a run time.
Dock
Auto self-emptying into a 2.5L bag, stated up to 120 days, with mop washing at 113-176F and warm-air drying at 104FThe 120-day figure is the longest stated self-empty interval of any machine on this site. Narwal also states the base station washes at up to 212F.Source: Narwal Flow 2 product page — base station (retrieved 2026-09-26)

What the sheet says it does well, and what it does not

Strengths

  • Publishes more rows than any other roller mop here, including a noise figure most makers omit
  • 12mm mop lift is published, so the carpet question has an actual number behind it
  • Dock bag stated at 2.5L and up to 120 days, the longest stated interval of any machine on this site

Limits

  • The most expensive roller mop we cover by a clear margin
  • No published climb height, so thresholds are an unknown
  • No published body height or runtime, despite publishing a battery capacity

Who it is for

Someone buying the mechanism rather than the badge, who wants the specification available before spending flagship money.

Who should skip it

Your budget is the constraint. This is the most expensive roller mop we cover, and the eufy C28 brings the same idea in for a lot less.

Where we recommend it

How we assessed this

By reading what Narwal publishes and recording it with its source. We have never owned, handled or measured this machine, and nothing above is written as though we had. Where the manufacturer publishes nothing, the row says so rather than borrowing a number from somewhere else. The full method is on how we pick, and if a figure here does not match the page it links to, tell us and we will correct it with a date.

What the spec sheet does not tell you

2 of the figures we track are absent from Narwal’s own material for this model. That is worth knowing before you buy, because each of them answers a question somebody eventually asks:

  • Max climb height — Narwal publishes no climb or threshold height for this model.
  • Stated runtime — Narwal publishes a 7,000mAh battery capacity but no runtime in minutes. Capacity without a draw figure does not give you a run time.

We could fill those in from a review site or an estimate. We do not, because a number we cannot source is worth less than an honest blank, and the pattern of what each maker will and will not state is one of the more useful things on this site.

Questions people actually ask

+ Does Narwal publish a threshold climb height for the Narwal Flow 2?

No. Narwal publishes no climb or threshold height for this model. We record that as not published rather than borrowing a figure from a review site — see the climb table for the models that do state one.

+ What suction does the Narwal Flow 2 have?

Narwal states 31,000 Pa. The highest Pa figure published by any maker on this site. It is Narwal's own measurement and is not comparable across brands. Remember that pascal ratings are not standardized between manufacturers, so that figure ranks this model within Narwal's own range and does not compare across brands — the full explanation.

+ Is the Narwal Flow 2 good for pet hair?

Its main brush is described as zero-tangling floating roller brush, which is the specification that matters most in a hair-heavy house — more than suction. The brush comparison sets out what each design does.

+ Can the Narwal Flow 2 mop over carpet?

Narwal states a mop lift of 12mm. Published plainly as a mop lifting height, which is more than most makers of roller mops manage. Compare that against your own pile depth rather than against other models — mop lift compared.

+ Who should skip the Narwal Flow 2?

Your budget is the constraint. This is the most expensive roller mop we cover, and the eufy C28 brings the same idea in for a lot less.
